@Ai Yee

Thanks for your comment.

It is clear that commuters can be encouraged to park and take the LRT to the city centre instead of driving all the way.

Now, the challenge is to encourage commuters to take alternate ways to get to the LRT station - whether by carpooling, using feeder bus, cycling or walking.

This is the challenge ahead for Prasarana, RapidKL and the local authorities.

So far they haven't been saying much about this...unfortunately.

I would like to give some response on it..
Last year i joined the consultation team and we were conducted some survey in MBPJ area. Yep, as the picture showed above, it's very interesting. There is a good happening and a bad happening. The good thing is we know that residents in PJ still willing to commute to work rather than choose car. Maybe it's a troublesome for those residence, but the fact is, if there is no more parking area for rail commuters to park their car and ride to work, finally they will only choose to get the car for whole journey to work, more car generated in whole route..
Wow...Now the traffic around PJ is already heavily congested, if there is no more park n ride system because of parking limited or illegal parking, surely, the traffic will become more n more congested.
So, multilevel parking lot is a MUST!! Transportation Planning is a Must!!
